Description
The Swan is a beautiful and mesmerizing production that offers multiple conceptual avenues connected to the notion of change. The score takes inspiration from Camille Saint-Saens’ “The Swan” from Carnival of the Animals and weaves the theme through the entire production. Whether through the stirring and luminary harmonic textures featured in the opening minutes; the lyrically dramatic ensemble swells of the ballad; or the complex orchestration between varying instrumental timbres during its appropriately stunning conclusion, The Swan highlights the importance of the journey beyond the destination - capturing the infinite spectrum of emotions in between.
